Is the opposition panicking?

'...BDP MP's aggressively argued that floor crossing causes so much pain to the electorate and should be discontinued with immediate effect. They insisted that the law needed to pass instantly. It is now surprising that instead of signing the law, BDP MP's led by the President are all out recruiting from the opposition and it will appear that they have forgotten that the practice pains the electorate. Is this not dishonesty?'
MP WYNTER MMOLOTSI WRITES...
"Is the opposition panicking?
I listened to a political analyst this morning discussing the issue of Presidential accent to the floor crossing bill. He opined that we are in a panic mode because the BDP is harvesting handsomely from us.
I think the analyst does not know that this bill was prioritised because from what the government said people want this law to be enacted forthwith. There were more than 10 Bill's in the bill book which competed for the same space but this particular one was prioritised. When debating the bill, the President told parliament and the nation that this law is urgent and once parliament passes it he will immediately append his signature. We are in the third week now since parliament passed the bill but the signature is nowhere to be found. What we see is massive recruitment of MP"s and Councillors by the Man who is supposed to accent to the law.
The question is "Is the opposition panicking? The answer is a big NO! We are wondering whether the urgency of the motion has now been neutralised by the festive season.
BDP MP's aggressively argued that floor crossing causes so much pain to the electorate and should be discontinued with immediate effect. They insisted that the law needed to pass instantly. It is now surprising that instead of signing the law, BDP MP's led by the President are all out recruiting from the opposition and it will appear that they have forgotten that the practice pains the electorate. Is this not dishonesty?
Challenge
If indeed the BDP was honest in their debate, I challenge them to chase away all MP's and Councillors who joined them since December because that is going to cause so much pain to their electorate. Batlhophi ba batho ba le ba tsereng bone ga ba utlwe botlhoko? Fa le ne le re le sireletsa batlhophi maloba le ne le raya bafe? Domi wee Batswana are not fools, that you should know.
I for one am not surprised because I grew up in the BDP and I know how dishonest they are. In fact I know BDP more than this lot because at one point, before I was fired, I was number 5 in the hierarchy of the party.
Ke ha block 4 ha go bapa le dimausu fa le mpata."
