The President of the Republic of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa has just announced that their
20 land ports which are currently open, will be closed until 15 February 2021 for general entry and departure.
• President Ramaphosa further said, South Africa will remain on lockdown level 3 as it is currently the case
• Curfew times have been adjusted, will now start from 9pm to 5am.
• He further stated that, they have secured 20million doses of COVID-19 Vaccines.
• He explained that vaccination with be done in phases, the first being frontline health workers and essential service providers eg. the police and teachers
President Ramaphosa was addressing the South Africans tonight.
